Saying Goodbye to Cascade
In early 2009, Oklahoma Christian University announced that financial pressures had made it necessary to close Cascade College at the end of the spring semester. The announcement marked the end of a chapter that began in 1956 with Columbia Christian College and continued through Cascade's 1994 founding.
The campus at 9101 E. Burnside Street was later sold to Columbia Christian Schools, which continues to operate there today — a fitting continuity, given the campus's earlier history under that same name.
